He is personally involved as investigators and collaborators in many of the research projects in the area of infectious diseases and lifestyle diseases like diabetes and cancer. He was previously Vice-President and General Manager for Emergent Biosolutions Asia Pacific and Director, Clinical Research and Medical Affairs for GlaxoSmithKline Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei.

Mr. Requilman is a graduate of Psychology from Cebu Doctors’ University and has a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of San Jose – Recoletos. More recently, he completed an Executive Education on Healthcare Leadership, on scholarship program of Johnson & Johnson, at INSEAD France. He has been in Human Resource Management for over 18 years now. He has professional affiliation at Personnel Managers Association of the Philippines – CEBU Inc., as an active officer from 2005 – 2009, and became the 2012 Chapter President of People Managers Association of the Philippines for Eastern Visayas. He was also the Committee Director for Special Projects at Philippine Society for Training and Development – Cebu in 2013. His professional affiliation extends to international membership in Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management as an affiliate member. He was awarded with “HR Leadership Award” in Bangalore India by Institute of Public Enterprise and Ascent (an NGO).

He is currently the CEO of SiNOPSEE Therapeutics, an A*Star Spin-off & a Senior Partner/Principal Consultant in Abiviruthi Consulting Pvt Ltd. Dr. Sekar brings along pharmaceutical business administration expertise, experimental research facility establishment experience, contract research project management skills, medical technology applications know-how and entrepreneurial drive. He has a multi-disciplinary educational background across Pharmaceutical & Innovation Management (MBA: Rutgers, US), Drug Discovery Science (PhD/Post-doc: Newcastle/Oxford, UK & Janssen, Belgium) & Biomedical Engineering (MS/BE: UK/India).

Joined GSK in the UK in 2008 as a Recruitment Lead supporting the Pharmaceutical business before moving into HR Manager and Team Leader roles working with the Global Support Functions. In 2014, relocated to Singapore as the HR Service Delivery Model Lead for the HR Transformation across Asia, deploying the service delivery model. As the Learning Operations Director Asia, lead a team of L&D specialists to develop and implement high quality learning experiences across the Asia region. Currently Global Talent Business Lead - GSK, setting and driving the talent strategy in Consumer Healthcare.

Jenny has over 20 years of experience in human resources management in areas such as talent management, workforce planning, recruitment, and employee relations with the last 10 years focusing on compensation and benefits management and global mobility for the Asia Pacific region. She was leading the compensation and benefits function for Asia Pacific in Covidien and Kraft Foods for Asia Pacific, and she was the Human Resource Manager for Baxter Healthcare.
As the HR Director for Astrazeneca Asia since 1 April 2014, Jenny has been leading the Asia Area HR function and supporting the business in driving the people agenda. Prior to this, Jenny joined AstraZeneca in May 2011 as the Regional Compensation Director for Asia Pacific & Japan. In this role, she helped set up the Compensation COE team for Asia Pacific and led various initiatives including shaping compensation policy, and supporting the development of variable pay plans such as annual bonus and sales incentive schemes.
