Clark Pan has 24 years of biopharma industry experience in both Research and Development organizations. He leads gene therapy research efforts at Pfizer as the VP of Gene Therapy. Previously, Clark spent 5 years at Shire overseeing research for all therapeutic modalities and 8 years each at Genzyme/Sanofi and Bayer leading the protein engineering function. He received his PhD in molecular biology from UCLA and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Genentech. Clark is the lead inventor for Jivi, a long-acting therapy for hemophilia and led avalglucosidase alfa development for Pompe treatment to a successful clinical PoC.
