Session – Opportunities and Challenges for Continuous Biomanufacturing Rakesh has a long career in Bioprocess Development, Scale-up and Technology Transfer as well as in drug development project management. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. Currently he is with Pfizer Global Product Development as Director Project Management. Prior to that he was a consultant to Biogen. He also worked for AstraZeneca with responsibilities in Bio-manufacturing Innovations, Quality by Design (QbD) and CMC Project Management. Rakesh also has significant accomplishments in diverse bio-process related industries like Biofuels and Industrial Biochemicals.
