Kelly Doering is currently a Consulting Industry Analyst with Axendia, Inc., where she lends her life sciences expertise on laboratory and manufacturing operations and the integration of digital technologies. Kelly previously led the Strategic Marketing team for the Pharmaceuticals Business Unit at Aspen Technology and has held numerous global roles in product development, product management, technical marketing and business development during her tenure at ALPCO and Waters Corporation, respectively. Kelly completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the department of Endocrinology at Boston Children’s Hospital where she studied diet-induced changes in body composition in mice on low and high glycemic index diets. Kelly earned an MS and PhD in nutrient regulation of gene expression from the University of Connecticut, and a BS in Health Sciences and Natural Sciences from Worcester State University. Kelly was elected to the ISPE Boston Chapter’s Board of Directors in 2025 and has been an active ISPE member and volunteer since 2021, organizing and moderating numerous virtual and in-person events. She is passionate about celebrating STEM learners of all ages and volunteers locally as a tutor and mentor.
