Greg Liposky joined Athersys in 2018 as Senior Vice President of Commercial Manufacturing. In his role, Greg Liposky is responsible for providing oversight for clinical manufacturing of MultiStem^® cell therapy and establishing the long-term strategic plan for commercial manufacturing of the product. Greg Liposky has over 35 years of experience in biotherapeutic protein process development and manufacturing on both a clinical and commercial level. He is a tenured executive with comprehensive experience in successfully leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations and business development efforts on both the domestic and international level. Greg Liposky is a  passionate leader with solid strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills and have demonstrated the ability to drive change and develop organizations.  Greg Liposky received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Belmont Abbey College and his Masters of Business Administration from Monmouth University.
