<p>Yuhua Ji, Ph.D, has over 25 years of experiences in small molecule R & D. She led and contributed to over ten development candidates across various therapeutic areas. Notably, she led the discovery and early development of the marketed products Yupelri. She is the inventor of over 100 patents and the author of over 20 publications. Currently, she is the head of Medicinal Chemistry at Zai Lab US. Prior to Zai, Dr Ji was the IND director at Virogin Biotech, after working in various capacities at Path for 7 years, where she was responsible for discovery chemistry and CMC. Before Path, she gained 10 years of experience at Theravance as the project leader and an associate director. She spent the first 10 years of her career at Hoffmann La-Roche in Switzerland and was a visiting scientist at Genentech with the mission of liaising the collaborative effect on a discovery project. Dr. Ji obtained Ph.D in Organic Chemistry and Biological Chemistry from Université de Louis Pasteur de Strasbourg, France and B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Pharmaceutical University of China.</p>
